If you're using MCUBoot as the only bootloader (not using NSIB), there is no way to update the embedded public key. It's built into MCUBoot, so it would require updating the entire MCUBoot image, not just updating some fixed memory.

If you're using MCUBoot as a second stage bootloader, you should be able to update the MCUBoot image just like you do with the application image (or network core image if using the nRF53).

I haven't implemented it myself, but documentation points towards the MCUBoot partition being updateable similar to the app or net core partitions.

I am also looking how to update the public key embedded in MCUBoot using DFU.

hi,

I'm looking for the same (but I'm using two stage bootloader with NSIB as the first stage and MCUboot as the second stage)! Is there a solution to update the public key embedded in MCUboot?
