We have no finished solutions for uploading firmware images for the nRF Secure Immutable Bootloader without using MCUBoot.

I understand that both options require MCUboot.
Is there an option that works with nRF Secure Immutable Bootloader?
We want to try to preserve flash space and drop MCUboot for nRF Secure Immutable Bootloader.

Here are two different solutions for DFU over UART:

SMP Server:
See the SMP Server Sample.

Serial Recovery:
Our nRF Desktop Application use this for some boards.
But if you want a smaller example for this, you could have a look at my unofficial MCUBoot Serial Recovery Sample.
