Looks like you have not reserved space for the softdevice in the "Sections placement macros". See Adjustment of RAM and Flash memory.

I think the example you have already started with is the best alternative, we do not have any examples for nRF52810 that does both advertising and scanning.

I was able to solve that. But I got a new error "Cannot Download Multiple files because they overlap"

Does this happen because nrf52810 flash is small?

But it only used 20%.

Let me know what is wrong.

BTW, I only want to advertise a few data and scan other devices' advertised data. Can you suggest to me an example to start?

Hi,

Please make sure you clean/rebuild the project, and/or remove the build folder, to make sure everything is built using the correct files.

Which compiler are you using? If you are not able to resolve the error, please post your project file here.

when I try to convert pca10040 to pca10040e, It says "there is no file named system_nrf52.c" after I remove the system_nrf52.c from the project.

Yes, the ble_app_hrs_rscs_relay example requires both BLE central and peripheral roles, But my app only advertises a few data and it will scan other devices' advertised data. So it won't take much flash.

I will let you know more after I test.

Hi,

See Creating your own emulated project under Developing for nRF52810 user guide in nRF5 SDK documentation. Note that the nRF52810 does not have FPU support in the CPU, so the project settings needs to be changed to use soft-float.

The ble_app_hrs_rscs_relay example requires both BLE central and peripheral role, which requires use of S132 softdevice. The nRF52810 have very limited flash and RAM sizes, so you may not be able to fit the application along with S132 softdevice, as this will take most of the available flash area.
