&lt;p&gt;The overlay looks ok. Have you scoped SCL and SDA pins to see if there&amp;#39;s any activity?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both pins shall be active low, ie. idling at VDD.&lt;/p&gt;
