There is not much of a special operation required to operate the DCDC. You must however have a third revision nRF51 chip, the DCDC schematics enabled, and Softdevice S110 8.0.0 or S120 2.0.0 or more recent. Then it is only matter of enabling the DCDC with a call to <a href="http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF51_SDK/nRF51_SDK_v8.x.x/doc/8.0.0/s110/html/a01073.html#ga34b954aaf40905251036737b716533c8">sd_power_dcdc_mode_set</a>.
