when I use the chip nrf51822(3rd generation),I find that when I open DCDC function,the ability of chip receiving msg is weaken.the receiving distance is shorter a half. I open it at the chip initialization and keep it all the time. &lt;p&gt;Your observation does not sound familiar to me. There is not much of a special operation required to operate the DCDC. You must however have a third revision nRF51 chip, the DCDC schematics enabled, and Softdevice S110 8.0.0 or S120 2.0.0 or more recent. Then it is only matter of enabling the DCDC with a call to &lt;a href="http://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF51_SDK/nRF51_SDK_v8.x.x/doc/8.0.0/s110/html/a01073.html#ga34b954aaf40905251036737b716533c8"&gt;sd_power_dcdc_mode_set&lt;/a&gt;.
