&lt;p&gt;Yes, I can confirm that the Radio Notification signal happens t&lt;sub&gt;ndist&lt;/sub&gt; before the actual radio activity, as scheduled by the SoftDevice. Advertising events are accurately scheduled including the random delay, and the radio notification should happen by the configured &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.s140.api.v7.3.0%2Fgroup___n_r_f___s_o_c___e_n_u_m_s.html&amp;amp;anchor=ga59b1a77ef6dcb1d75833e5c5f5251d58"&gt;NRF_RADIO_NOTIFICATION_DISTANCE&lt;/a&gt; before the radio turns on for the radio event. In the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fsds_s140%2FSDS%2Fs1xx%2Fradio_notif%2Fradio_notif.html"&gt;Radio Notification signals&lt;/a&gt; figures, the &amp;quot;radio activity&amp;quot; blocks can be any radio event, including sending an advertising packet.&lt;/p&gt;
