However, to answer what you need to know, you can find code examples for the Central role in the nRF51 SDK, which is available if you buy either a Development Kit or an Evaluation Kit. Hi, Sorry to jump in this thread. I am researching BLE product for a similar task (1 central node with 4-6 concurrent slaves). I have looked up other vendors (TI, CSR etc) and come to a conclusion that nRF51822 with S120 can answer this problem (S120 being central protocol stack solution with up to 8 simultaneous slave connections). Being a SoC, I assume that the system complexity will be lower from prototype development time point of view, too. Please would you share your view on this, as based on this, I would like to order a starter + development kit. Will the development kit come with some sort of demo software to evaluate the connection?

The Gazell library and examples are provided in the nRF51 SDK.

Since it's not really related to the question of the topic, it would be better if you could create a separate question, next time.

Do you have a suggestion as an alternative for me to use? I don't need BLE interoperability, just a communication platform 1 Master -> 8 Slaves.

I read that something as "Gazell" exists, but could not find any featurelist.

We are working on the next version of the BLE stack that support Central role, as you can find some question about it here.

But since it's a future product, it's not possible for us to add any further comment here. Please contact our regional sale manager for your area for more information.

If with master you mind Central, no way to be Central with nRF51822.

S110 stack is able to act only as peripheral.
