I could not find the issue, but I started with a fresh image for the jetson and now the board is recognized. Unfortunately I could not tell what exactly the issue was, but for me, this is now resolved.

This is a common issue with more specialized hardware platforms. The drivers might not be as well tested, and getting support to fix them is usually harder.

Maybe USB HID would work?

yeah, the connection via the other port works directly, and the board is recognized. However, for my use case, I would need the other one.

But you are probably right, it seems to be a problem with my nVidia setup, even tough it already worked on a similar setup with another nVidia jetson. But after all, sometimes the drivers are a problem as far as I could see with all the images and the individual setups.

Sounds like this is not really an issue on the nRF side then, but a problem with the CDC driver on your nVidia board?

This is not really something we can help with. Have you tried to contact them about the issue?

Have you looked for the device natively on the board (not through the docker) to see if you can find it there?

Some additional Info: I am running ROS2 on the nvidia Jetson, with a 18.04 Ubuntu distribution.

yeah, the port is detected when flashing the device with the Segger on a different device (Laptop with Windows). However, the jetson nano does not recognize the port. I tried to install all drivers and other things, but probably I missed one step and I cannot figure out why the device is not recognized over the CDC ACM USB port.

Just to be clear, will the CDC ACM USB port be detected by a standard PC, when using the nRF USB port?

In other words, does the problem appear to be on the PC side, or on the nRF side?
