&lt;p&gt;I assume the link to the PCB is your PCB design? For the nRF52832 we have some &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf52832.ps.v1.1%2Fref_circuitry.html&amp;amp;anchor=pcb_guidelines"&gt;PCB design guidelines&lt;/a&gt; that should be followed, and a &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf52832.ps.v1.1%2Fref_circuitry.html&amp;amp;anchor=concept_aqp_fd1_fq"&gt;reference design&lt;/a&gt; that we recommend following, as the nRF52 requires some components, decoupling capacitors, external crystal oscillators, etc. to operate correctly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As for programming the device, all you should need is to put a 3V source on the VDD pins, ground the GND pins, and connect the custom board to the DK like shown in the image below. That should let the DK detect the external board and program that rather than the onboard SoC. This will only let you program one device at a time though, for mass production I would recommend one of the &lt;a href="https://shop.segger.com/production-tools/?p=2"&gt;production tools from SEGGER&lt;/a&gt;. Although pricy, they are of good quality and are designed to program devices for production.&lt;/p&gt;
