Hi Daoms,
Which chip are you building the application for ?
If you test with other example (and add mcuboot and SMP server to it) do you see the same error ?
What's the size of your application after you build (without mcuboot, smp_svr) ?

After reinstall NCS2.0.0,somehow it is able to build the sample SMP_SVR.

But when I try to build my own application, it got a new err:zephyr_pre0.elf section `text' will not fit in region `FLASH'

But the MCUboot only uses 68.61% of its space, why it has this err? How to solve it？

I haven't got to the root cause of this. But could you try to re-install the NCS extension in VSCode ?
In my case I did a re-install of the NCS v2.0.0 and it worked for me. But maybe it's not the best solution.

Yes I'm using VSCode.

I don't see the MANIFEST thing in my VSCode.

when I run West Set Active Manifest from command Palette,it shows not found.

Hi Daoms,

I tried to compiled the SMP_SVR and got into the same problem as you.
I noticed that it has something to do with the manifest.

Could you let me know if you compiled using Visual Studio Code ?
If you do please double check on the bottom left corner which manifest file was selected. It should show something like this:
