The information I got is that It's aimed for v2.1.0

I don't think we will have v1.9.x bug fix release. So it's most likely that you would need to apply the patch manually to earlier SDK.

I'm checking internally to see if it's been patched in v2.0.0 and if we have any plan to backport it to 1.9.1.

But as far as I can see it seems that the PR is not merged. And I checked the source code of v2.0.0 release and don't see the patch.
