&lt;p&gt;You could take a &lt;a href="https://github.com/simon-iversen/sdk-nrf/blob/light_controller/samples/light_controller/src/main.c"&gt;look at this example&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;as a reference, it demonstrates pretty much exactly the functionality you describe.
