I can program it via DK, but RTT doesn't work (no output in J-Link RTT Viewer). Am I doing something wrong, or is it just impossible to do it this way?

RE: Using SEGGER RTT on an external nRF chip

@andrey Thank you for your feedback. Sometimes external boards have lesser memory than the DK. RTT tends to have a bigger memory foot print especially with the default options. You might want to re configure the RTT configurations and check if all is fine. Conceptually this should work and i have made this work with our external board. Just ensure that there is a live connection maintained with the external board

RE: Using SEGGER RTT on an external nRF chip

There was a problem in code preventing RTT from working.

RE: Using SEGGER RTT on an external nRF chip

I've tried the same thing with DK <-> nRF Beacon and RTT isn't working either.
I tested RTT on my two PCA10028 boards and it seems to be working fine. I connect Debug out port of PCA10028 board 1 to a Debug in port of PCA10028 board 2. I can see printed RTT data in the RTT Viewer from the PCA10028 2 board. Dit you have RTT working previously with another configuration?
