A co-worker has 1.17 for 32-bit but it refuses to install on a 64-bit machine.
My statement that v1.20 is broken is based

RE: nRFgo 64 bit v1.19

If you do decide to give 1.20 a go again at some point, try the latest 5.x Segger pack - I had some issues with 4.9x and 5.0 seemed to resolve them all. www.segger.com/jlink-software.html

RE: nRFgo 64 bit v1.19

I did not install the Segger tools directly. It's counter-intuitive but:

Go to a page that lists nRFgo Studio Win64 (such as www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF51422

Do NOT click on the nRFgo Studio link. If you do you will get the 1.20.0 version that you do not want.

Do click on the link labeled 1.20.0 (even though you do not want v1.20). Instead of downloading the software it will take you to a page listing the various versions. From here you can click on the Download link next to the version you want.
