Take a look at this tutorial from Nordic about programming the Dongle. To the end of the tutorial you can see how to program using an external debugger, you can also find the bootloader zip file attached.

I think there is a issue with bootloader. i don't know what it is. I erased chip with j-link. is there any way to reload bootloader.

I haven't seen this error before. I asked this question internally but I haven't got any response yet. Seems like it might be the problem with the Application you are trying to upload (not sure though). Did you tried using the reset button on the dongle and uploading again?

Hello Menon,

i am trying to connect dongle with open DFU bootloader with nRF connect. it was working but now i don't know what happened. why it is showing this error. led on dongle continuously blinking with PWM.

Can you please share which versions of Toolchain manager and Programmer you use?

If you want to clear the whole chip then you need to connect to an external debugger. But if you are looking to make the dongle in bootloader mode take a look into this page.
