The answer seems to be to build from the project in the arm5_no_packs directory. The automatically generated projects seem to create problems.

@Johnsop1: I would suggest you to download a fresh copy of the SDK and test again. My hex file was compiled from the original DFU example in the SDK.

The above hex file worked! Now we have to figure out what is different between my and your code. Can you zip up your project and make it available?

Hi John,

Sorry that I didn't notice you posted the trace for S110. Please post the full trace, by click File -> Save and attach the file in the question.

I have to correct my self. The S110 and S130 share quite similar APIs so there is a chance that the bootloader for S110 works with S130, but it should also work with S110. I attached here a hex file built on my computer. Please test it with S110 v8.0 and let me know the result.

The wire shark trace above to from the dfu_dual_bank_pca10028 and the S110. As you can see the connection drops shorty after starting the download. Strangely, If I have the S130 loaded with the same bootloader the download works.

@Johnsop1: Please describe the issue you observed when testing with S110. A sniffer trace would be appreciated. Note that the dfu_dual_bank_ble_S110_pca10028 should not work with S130.

I have tried the S110, S120 and S130. Only the S130 worked.

Could you let me know if the bootloader for S110 worked for you ? Just to make sure you have a proper setting ?
