&lt;p&gt;I think you would have better luck by directing this question to Bosch. As far as I can tell the example was not made by us, but is apart of the Zephyr samples. I&amp;#39;m also not sure what you mean by AIQ. I did a quick look at their &lt;a href="https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/datasheets/bst-bme680-ds001.pdf"&gt;datasheet &lt;/a&gt;and found the formulas that is used for the conversion:&lt;/p&gt;
