I assume you are using the Toolchain Manager? The toolchain included in Toolchain Manager was previously based on the portable version of Git. https://git-scm.com/download/win

You should be able to run the PortableGit-2.37.0-64-bit.7z.exe and point it to <nRF Connect SDK install folder>\toolchains\v2.0.0.

This should update to the correct version (from the Toolchain Manager - Command Prompt)
