Good that you used the documentation for LE Audio. Please note that the documentation for the latest version of nRF Connect SDK may vary from the documentation for an official release -- in your case v2.0.0.

Great that you were able to build successfully again. My best advice for consistently being able to build, is to open bash or VS Code from the Toolchain Manager every time.

I am using integrated terminal in VS Code.

I opened the VSCode again today and tried to build the application form the directory "C:\acpncs\cus_app\cuss_nrf5340_audio\tools\buildprog".

And surprisingly, I was able to build the application successfully. I am happy that the issue is solved, but this leaves me in much difficult situvation, as I am not able to find out what made it to work. I am also not able to recreate the error logs.

Anyway happy its working now.

This documentation is for the manual install for nRF Connect SDK v1.7.0. What exactly did you follow in it? You should not have to do any additional steps in installing nRF Connect SDK after installing with the Toolchain Manager.

Which terminal source are you using? On my end I am able to build the application with the script two ways: (1) when using bash from the Toolchain Manager, and (2) by selecting nRF Connect as the source for the integrated terminal in VS Code when I have opened VS Code from the Toolchain Manager.

The rest of the steps you have described look correct.
