The nrf.exe tool won't care if your bootloader support 3 files combination or not. It will simply bundle them into one .zip.

If you only want to bundle softdevice and bootloader, you should not put the "application app.bin" when calling nrf.exe.

So the code for MS-DOS posted in my question what exactly does when executed and all 3 files are in the same folder? It compiles all of them in a zip? Only the softdevice and the bootloader? It is a mistake in the documentation?

What command do I need to compile for example only softdevice and bootloader?

Hi Gabriel,

The current DFU doesn't support a zip package with all 3 binary of application, bootloader and softdevice.

Could you try again with:

Application
Bootloader
Softdevice
Softdevice + bootloader

And let me know if something doesn't work.
