Hello,

You may have misunderstood of some points. The granularity of SPM flash locking is 32K so 0x-0x100 is probably 1 32K region. Default is 00-02 which is 2 regions 64K.

For example, below is the booting of application_update sample without any modification in samples.

I do not know about your setup; if you want can share the whole project.

You may add this to your child image -Dmcuboot_CONFIG_FPROTECT=y and see the outcome.
