If you use the python library you can log at 100kHz with little to no lag. There's definitely something (still) wrong with the app.

Hello I am have a related timing issue. Essentially the system takes significantly longer 2 or 3 times to complete the specified period. e.g. 1 minute sampling takes 3 minutes to complete.

This was on an AMD machine.

Wondering if there is an update yet for the PPK application.

Also, I will add that I have a python script using the IRNAS API sampling at 100ksps and storing to disk in real time, and I do not observe any lag. I'm sure it has something to do either with the plotting (if that's holding up the data sampling) or the serial library in use.

MacBook Air (macOS 12.5), 2020, 1.2GHz Intel quad-core i7 with 16GB ram. I have directly connected the device through a USB A <-> C converter.

Hello,

What type of computer is this? CPU type, available RAM, etc. And which OS are you running? We are currently investigating some performance issues with the PPK software, so this might be related. Have you tried connecting the PPK directly to the computer, i.e. not using a USB hub?
