And _please_ fix the "Getting started" Guide:

The "Install automatically" section is bollocks: it says that the command line tools are only needed for a cmdline build and not for VS Code which is obviously wrong.
It does not mention the JLink dependency at all.

The VS Code error message "nrfjprog is required but not found" should be improved as the application was installed and found but only the JLink stuff was missing.

Hi,

Yes, you need to install the JLink too. You must add the folder containing JLink.exe to your path. This should help you.

Ah you need to install the SEGGER Jlink cruft according to

from

https://www.segger.com/downloads/jlink/#J-LinkSoftwareAndDocumentationPack

I think you should install that stuff including the nrf-command-line-tools via the Toolchain Manager. This is really messy as it is now..

Now with logging enabled it gets interesting:

Where can i get the libjlinkarm.so shared library ?

It seems like nrfjprog is not correctly installed when installing the .deb package:

$ nrfjprog -v
ERROR: JLinkARM DLL load failed. Try again. If it keeps failing, please
ERROR: reinstall latest JLinkARM from Segger webpage.
NOTE: For additional output, try running again with logging enabled (--log).
NOTE: Any generated log error messages will be displayed.
