&lt;p&gt;I asked our test group about this, and we have a &lt;a href="https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/pull/48732"&gt;pull request in the Zephyr project here&lt;/a&gt; to introduce a dedicated unit testing board and support Kconfig for unit tests here, which should help you to speed up unit testing. Please check it out!&lt;/p&gt;
