Yes I tried with nRF connect app. This is Iphone 8. but looking at the project requirement now I am trying to connect my device with laptop.

So, when I tried to add a device on Edge impulse platform it is not showing Thing53.

How can I add my device with laptop? Could you please help me to connect my device with laptop.

Did you try with nRF connect app ? The screenshot looks like Edge Impulse app.

Which iPhone and OS version are you trying with?

Hello,

Glad to hear that it worked.
It's not a compulsory thing that you need Android to work with Thingy53. You can work with both IOS and Android. The error you are getting is because the iPhone tries to reconnect using the information captured during the previous connection, but the peer is expecting something else. Can you try the option Remove/Forget the devices from your Bluetooth list (phone Bluetooth). Then try to connect from the nRf connect app.

Yes you can use windows for working with Thingy53.It's well documented in our Developing with Thingy53 page.

No both method results in same.

Okay, I understand that but when I tried to press on connect button then the below message has been reflected on the screen and stopped the device to connect

and also it is not discoverable on nRF EdgeImpulse app.

Please see EdgeImpulse is your Thingy53. Its the default name given to Thingy53 with Edge impulse firmware.

Initially when I updated the firmware I have done that process through the USB and then I updated the firmware for the Peripheral because it was mentioned in the link that I have shared in my earlier replies. so, do you think I should have update my device through USB to update Edge Impulse firmware?

Okay, So, now I have followed the steps you mentioned and tried to update it and then searched for the device but the result is same. It is still not discoverable on my mobile.

Hello,

Is this because you have updated the device with Peripheral LBS application. So default Edge impulse name(Thingy53) is not visible any more.
I guess Nordic_LBS is your device(Thingy53).
Go to your programmer app select Edge impulse option and install.In the select device option select Nordic_LBS. Then your device will be programmed with the default firmware

nRF Programmer--> Edge Impulse-->Install-->Nordic_LBS(under select device)

No I have no other device, I have only one device.

Can you tell me which device is this? Because your device name will be Edge mpulse(Thingy53), if you haven't uploaded any other application other than edge impulse firmware.

So, these are the list of the devices that are available when I open the nRF connect app.

Yes I have tried using that as well but when I am trying to install firmware from there it never detect the device(no name of device in the list).

Can you elaborate bit more on the project and how the other devices are connected to the phone?

Yes, sure:

Charge the device with type C charger
Power On the device and tried to update the firmware as mentioned in the below link

Then tried to open the edge impulse app, to find the device and connect it.
On other hand I have downloaded and istall the nRF programmer, Edge impulse and nRF connect app on my phone.
As soon as I have downloaded the phone my phone itself connected to Nordic_LBS through bluetooth
Then I opened the nRF connect app and tried to connect with Mhsl-gateway-39-zmg3la35
After that I have tried using nRF programmer to update firmware or Edge Impulse but the app did not detect the device.

to update the firmware, it seems like that now board has been updated and the Led has started blinking. The only problem that I am facing is connecting my phone with the device. I do not know what steps I am missing because of which my device is not able to detect the Edge impulse device through Bluetooth.

Right now, the devices that are connected to my phone are:

Nordic_LBS
Mhsl-gateway-39-zmg3la35

I do not know which step I am missing to connect my device.

Could you please help me to connect the device to my phone through Bluetooth?

Yes, I tried searching the device and following the instruction as shown on the device, but it did not work. Also, I tried to switch off the device and then tried to switch it on, but it did not work and this time the LED was also not blinking. I am not sure what is the problem.

Is there any method with which I can confirm that my device is charged or not?
Also, is there any possibility to check that my device is ready to connect with Bluetooth?
Can you please provide an instruction to connect the device with mobile?
Also, can you please provide detailed instructions to update the firmware, as I am not sure even my device is updated with the new firmware or not?

It would be very helpful if you can investigate the matter and provide your support on an urgent basis as my project is on hold due to the issue with the device.

That's the how it works. Only after establishing the connection red LED will start to glow. How did you try connecting to your phone?
You need to install either nRF Connect or nRF Edge Impulse for establishing a connection.

There is no dedicated video which shows connecting with mobiles. But some part of this video(from 22:45) shows how to connect from the phone and see the sensor values in the phone.
