&lt;p&gt;The command &lt;code&gt;custom rsoftwareversion&lt;/code&gt; is used to get the softwareversion of the (remote) DUT device. To use commands interacting with a DUT device you to have two devices with the&amp;nbsp;IEEE 802.15.4 PHY test tool programmed, and one of them must be a DUT device and the other a CMD device. The devices are by default configured to support both DUT and CMD mode, and in that case you must switch one of the devices into CMD mode with the following command:&lt;/p&gt;
