Hi,

I have tested the sample and I was able to reproduce the issue. The issue is related to the board's devicetree configuration.

The battery measurement sample is made for thingy52_nrf52832 board. This sample is not expected to work on nRF5340 out of the box. Therefore, some changes are required. As described in the battery voltage measurement, you would need to add VBATT node to your device tree configuration in nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpunet.dts.
There are several analog inputs as described in SAADC. In the ADC reference API, you can see how to use analog inputs AIN06 and AIN07. You can also use VDDH/5 as input with NRF_SAADC_INPUT_VDDHDIV5. In addition, ensure that your power source switch is switched to Li-Po on the board.
