&lt;p&gt;Many of third-party nRF5 modules will come pre-programmed with a bootloader and/or application (i.e. factory image) so you can test and potentially use the module without having to re-program it through the debug interface first.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You should be able to do the same with this module.
