The ouput of REG0 can be adjusted by writing to the REGOUT0 register in the UICR. If you set the output of REG0 to 2V4 then VDD will also be 2V4 and so will the GPIO high voltage.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;DC/DC current will vary depending on the workload of the CPU. The device is not built for external supply so you shouldn&amp;#39;t connect anything else on the DCDC pins. The GPIO high voltage level is always equal to VDD.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;External supply is not supported by the nRF52833.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf52840/power.html?cp=4_0_0_4_2_0_2#unique_1706523351"&gt;However, nRF52840 supports external supply and has a limit of 25 mA(depending on TX power).&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
