Is there any fix for this? I am unable to use Chocolatey for the manual install and need to install the latest SDK on a new work based PC.

I deleted anything nrf in my AppData folders and - then the version showed up.

Hello,

It looks like the Toolchain manager currently does not support a proxy configuration for toolchains with version 2.0.0 and above. I can get back to you with some work around, but please expect a delay as some of our developers are on vacation right now.

I use nRF Connect for Desktop v3.11.1, this is the screenshot of Toolchain Manager plus console and logs.

Please let me know whether there is a solution to this - maybe the index JSON file can be moved or maybe there is proxy support for the toolchain manager?

Yes I get a similar error. It's definitely a network error and installing the NCS manually works. Would be nice to have an option to pass proxy settings to the toolchain manager, such that I can use it again ...

Hello,

What versions of nRF connect and toolchain manger are you trying with? Could you press ctrl+shift+i while having the Toolchain Manager open and navigate to the "console" tab? This tab could give any indications as to what might be wrong. Something like below:

This might be a network issue. Can you try installing NCS manually instead of through toolchain manager. You can follow this guide for doing the same.

Yes, but the proxy settings don't seem to apply to the toolchain manager.

Turns out the index file which is required by the toolchain manager to gather information on new versions can't be downloaded due to a company proxy on my end. Is there any way to have toolchain manager access this index file differently?
