All BLE applications need a softdevice, sorry to ask such basic questions but did you program a softdevice before programming your application? devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

yeah i have modified those things the program getting compiled and downloaded in to the kit but the LED is not blinking in the DK because LED only indicates the bluetooth on the DK is turned ON ,i don't know what went wrong i have checked some other program for that also remain the same problem expect for the blink program

please copy those files into the project folder\RTE\ where other header files are located. If you are still not able to change them, then right click on the file and uncheck the read-only attribute in its propertes

those files are read only can you please tell me how to unlock and edit those files?

Yes, That is the side effect of using GPIOTE driver and library together. That will be solved officially in next SDK release until then find the solution here in devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

if i change the GPIOTE_ENABLED 0 then it is showing the error like this linking... ._build\nrf51422_xxac.axf: Error: L6200E: Symbol GPIOTE_IRQHandler multiply defined (by app_gpiote.o and nrf_drv_gpiote.o). Not enough information to list image symbols.

for that exmaple it is working well from that github i took the button example nrf51_app_button_exmaple_master for that program it is not using any softdevice but it is showing the same errors what i should do for that?

it is like this in that file and rest of the line in that part is same #define GPIOTE_ENABLED 0

do i ahve to change GPIOTE_ENABLED 1?

Thats why I hate packs (no offense) but I do not seem to get full control of the project with Keil packs.

Can you open nrf_drv_gpiote.c file and find include "nrf_drv_config.h" and then right click on this and say open file

check if GPIOTE is enabled in that file /* GPIOTE */

There is only GPIOTE_CONFIG_IRQ_PRIORITY (C compiler is case sensitive) and it is define in SDK8.1 and SDK9.0 in components\drivers_nrf\config\nrf_driv_config.h

Where did you get that Ble-UART-example which uses "GPIOTE_config_irq_priority "?
