The nRF52840DK is preloaded with the Preflash example.
This example does not do Bluetooth Low Energy.

If you need a Bluetooth Low Energy sample running on your Developement Kit, you need to program it yourself.

To learn how to program the nRF52840DK, see https://academy.nordicsemi.com/.

I do not have any code running on the nRF52840 DK. It is brand new and I just plugged it in. However, LED1 will fade in and out. It does not blink so I assume that means that it is not advertising. It does not show up as a connectible device. How do I put the dev kit into advertising mode?

RE: advertising LED on nrf52840 dk

Hi,

Which code do you have running on your nRF52840DK from before?
