I'm currently developing a custom firmware for the Nrf52840 usb dongle ( https://www.mouser.de/new/nordic-semiconductor/nordic-nrf52840-usb-dongle ). The custom firmware is written completely from scratch in Rust, if needed I can provide

RE: Nrf52840 custom firmware using BLE LR

After going through one of the posts in more detail, mz PLEN setting was correct, but BleLR modes seem to not work with balen set to 4 and also do not work with TERMLEN less than 2.
Tested for BleLR_125Kbit mode

Edit: With TERMLEN set to 2 the packets still arrive, but the contents are incorrect (especially the length field is incorrect).

RE: Nrf52840 custom firmware using BLE LR

Hi,

Have you checked other devzone threads on this matter, for instance these two?

Bringing up 125Kbps Coded PHY on NRF52840

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/19945/ble-5-transmiter-receiver-examples-nrff52840/77618#77618

I would recommend that you enter debug mode and check the NRF_RADIO register content after applying your wanted settings. And do so on both ends to see that they match in the specific mode.

Kind regards,

Håkon
