 I have made my own custom board with the nrf52811. Therefore I was using the nrf52dk. 
 I have made connection with my custom board and simply want to blink an led. The pin I&amp;#180;m using is p0.13.

Your code and connections are fine. But you could also take a look at our reference. This is how we have the connections in the DKs&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I did not understand correctly. You are using a custom board based on nRF52811 and&amp;nbsp;are you using the nRF52dk just to confirm the connections and programming before that? If so, then I would &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/struct_nrf52/struct/nrf52811_dev_kit.html?cp=4_4_4"&gt;recommend you to use the nRF52840DK&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The nRF52DK is used for developing for ICs&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;nRF52832, nRF52810, or nRF52805.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
