Hello Ghazi,

The battery used in Thingy:53 is a Li-Po battery and the same is used for all of our products.. We have not faced any issue in traveling with any of our products so far(as long as you take it in the carry on luggage). The range of the lithium battery used in our product is way below the risky limit (way lower than that used in phones as well as in laptops) and has been carried on air by several employees previously.. Are you inquiring about travelling with a large number of products.?

Thingy:53 is also one of the official product of Nordic Semiconductors: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-hardware/Nordic-Thingy-53 And it is safe to use the product.. You can find the documentation for developing with Thingy:53 here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/ug_thingy53.html

Which product are you planning to buy.? We have the nRF5340DK that is the official development board from Nordic Semiconductors and is always the recommended one to start developing.. However, you could also use any of the boards as per your requirements..

Note: We do not provide recommendations for 3rd party module.. It solely depends on your requirements.
