The simple answer is no. The is even no option to directly connect nRF9160 and phone by far, but I feel Cloud Services - nordicsemi.com A-GPS service can solve your problem. It can help you make TTFF less than 5 seconds under the open sky. You can play with nRF9160: GNSS — nRF Connect SDK 2.0.2 documentation (nordicsemi.com) to see how A-GPS works with nRF9160.

Yes, exactly.

We have a device that spends most of its time without having GPS reception, and would like to utilize the GPS information that the phone has.
