Hi, could you please share your file CMakeList.txt, i don't understand how to set these commands in peripheral_uart sample:

set(OVERLAY_CONFIG "prj_cdc.conf")

set(DTC_OVERLAY_FILE "usb.overlay")

when i wirte them, errors pop up...

I just copied the BLE initialisaiton to the main and prj.conf 🙂

yes, that's what I wanted, to log over usb instead of uart. The thing is that those COM ports are not the "new" as it is in Peripheral UART Sample when the USB AMC Extension is activated (as described here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/2.0.0/nrf/samples/bluetooth/peripheral_uart/README.html )

those COM ports

are active only when the USB is connected to MCU on the side

What I needed was to make connection on nRF USB port, as the Peripheral UART Sample with USB AMC Extension does

but I was not able to combine it with BLE Central Role.

I already solved this problem by combining UART Central Sample with CDC ACM Sample instead of USB AMC Extension from UART Peripheral Sample, so now it works fine 🙂

Thanks for the project file. You said that ''the virtual COM does not appear.'' could you please elaborate this a bit? I have run your project on nRF5340 and also checked the com port by nrfjrpog command. It shows the right communication port.

I can see inside central_usb_amc\prj_cdc.conf file that uart is disabled, and in usb.overlay file

zephyr,console decides where logging from printk and where LOG_INF goes to. So, according to usb.overlay file, the routes logging over usb instead of uart.

I am now trying to combine UART Central Sample and CDC ACM Sample, maybe it will work better.
