I have reinstalled everything and exactly the same problem.

Can you tell me where the error is coming from?

Which configuration file do I need to check? Because if the directory is configured incorrectly, this error might popup.
To solve the problem is to simply change the configuration file? If I know where it is.

I can also create a symlink to the correct directory.

Hi Philip,

It looks like you have now two different installations. As I had mentioned before, before re-installing, you need to uninstall and remove all previous folders. Could you try uninstalling the nRF Command line tols, nRF Connect SDK and also delete all previous folders relating to Nordic? For eg, the ncs2, ncs_v2.0.2 etc. Please delecte all the folders, uninstall everything and then please download everything once again (this time everything to same path).

They are pointing to the same folder with a symlink.

Could you send me a screenshot of the contents of ncs2 folder and ncs_v2.0.2 folder inside ephimee. It should look something like this:

But mine is a Windows environment. This is just for an example.

I still don't know why I get "Zephyr was unable to find the toolchain". I hope you can explain this error and how to solve it?

Could you try to shorten you installation path from /home/ephimee/ncs2/ to something shorter? Say, /nc2/ ? or /home/ncs2/ ?

AppImage is a portable application. It just runs, it does not install. You can read more about it here:

What do you mean by cannot uninstall? You should be able to remove the application from your PC so that you can do a fresh installation again.

Hi, I couldn't find how to un-install nRF Connect for Desktop. But I think it cannot be un-install because it's an AppImage:

nrfconnect-3.12.0-x86_64.AppImage

You can uninstall an application in the nRF Connect for Desktop like this:

Also, you can find the entire application in your PC uninstall them.
