thanks a lot for the fast reply. The logs revealed that I've forgot to copy the `extcap` folder of the new version of the plugin. (the old one still was in place).

Hello Torsten,

I'm glad to hear that you have found our sniffer tool useful, but it is unfortunate that it's not working now on your new setup.

The fact that it shows up as a interface WS indicates and starts blinking indicates that you have set up everything correctly, but that there is a communication issue between the device and your mac. When you disabled MSD, did you remember to power-cycle the board afterwards? This is important as the change will not take effect otherwise.

For further troubleshooting, I would suggest you take a look at the log files in /tmp and /tmp/logs to see if the plugin is logging any errors.
