I am sorry, I did not know that you were using SES. The issue with previous versions stopping working with SES after installing 2.0.0 is a known bug and also SES is deprecated from NCS 2.0.0 in favour of VS Code.
I am trying to find another solution with the developers.

you can run the first command with the 1.9.1 bash and then open 2.0.0 bash

FYI: last time I attempted to install v2.0.0 (which TCM completed without error), I was no longer able to use SES or build my application based on 1.9.1.. It looks like 2.0.0 breaks SES .. only solution was to uninstall 2.0.0 which I obviously did.

I will keep you updated. I have also found a possible workaround.

Everything works fine on NCS 2.0.0, so if you are dependent on using 1.9.1, you can run the first command with the 1.9.1 bash and then open 2.0.0 bash, go to the correct folder with your 1.9.1 application and then run "west -t build rom_report".

thank you for the quick response.. i would like to avoid manually installing anything given some of the nightmares we have had with earlier attempts (and given everything else works just fine).. Please let us know when there is an update from the developers .. thank you

Hello,

I have replicated the issue using Toolchain Manager on Windows and forwarded it to the developers.

I have also tested it on my main Linux installation, where I have installed the SDK manually and it worked perfectly there, so I assume there is just some python missing in the version bundled with the Toolchain Manager. Which also means that a possible solution for now would be to try a manual install.
