Yes, support for Segger embedded studio was introduced in SDK 14.2.0

So nRF5_SDK_v16.0.0 can use Segger embedded studio to compile? I don't want to update SDK.

Yes, our Segger embedded studio projects are configured to build with gnu extensions by default (-std=gnu99)

So is it ok to run your scanning demo on Segger embedded studio with C extension?

Thanks for confirming. I was able to reproduce the problem here now. But I was unable to locate the problem. At first I thought it could be an issue with the SV calls made into the Softdevice, but the assembly instructions were the same with and without --gnu enabled. I was also suprised to see that everything appeared to be running normally except for not being able to establish a connection.

Either way, it is clear that we don't support this compile option in our SDK. Please consider using Segger embedded studio if you need these C extensions in your project.

Just check GNU extension in C/C++ to enable some GNU festures.

Hello Young,

I'm not familiar with this --gnu setting. Does it enable the GCC compiler, or is it still the ARM compiler but with some GNU extensions?

Scaning are inited and started successfully without advertising report print when enabled GUN extersion.
