Hi RK,

The developers confirmed that it is not possible for a Zigbee GP light switch to control nRF Connect SDK light bulbs directly. GP Basic Proxy devices simply forward GP packets.

No. As I stated in my previous reply, I will let you know when I have more information. However, as I have also stated earlier, it is unlikely that you will get it to work since the light bulb does not have sink functionality.

Hi RK,

I see that your switch is sending GPD 8-bit vector: press/release commands. A device needs sink functionality in order to be able to translate GPD commands, so a Proxy Basic device, such as the light bulb, will not be able to translate these commands. I have asked the developers if there is a way to make this work without access to the ZBOSS stack sources. I am still waiting on a reply.

Hi RK,

Can you get a sniffer log of this and upload it here as a pcap file? Make sure to start the sniffer before the coordinator starts the network so it has the network key, or share the network key here so I can decrypt the packets.

Thanks for your reply. My requirement is we want add Enocean switch (PTM 216z) to ZigBee network and then control the lamp. For this I have used Zigbee Co-Ordinator for creating network and light_bulb for acting on light commands from sample applications.

I able to create ZigBee network and light_buld joins the network. But when I am pressing Enocean switch, no events received on light_bulb application. Could you help me how to receive green power events on light bulb application? Is there callback registration required for receiving green power events? Could you point to any documentation for receiving and handling green power events in application.

Note: all are operating same ZigBee channel.

As I said in my previous reply, only Green Power Proxy is supported, not Green Power Combo.

Thank for your reply. I am using light bulb from sample applications. I have tried the ZBOSS configurations using Kconfig for enabling green power combo option, but check box is not editable for combo feature. Attached the snapshot for your reference. Could you please tell us how to enable green power combo feature.

Hi RK,

Only Zigbee Green Power Proxy Basic is supported (CONFIG_ZIGBEE_GP_PB). Green Power Combo Basic is experimental, but as you can see in ZBOSS Configuration options it can only be enabled for an application that is built from ZBOSS stack sources.
