As far as I know and from what I can find, there isn&#39;t a specific issue with the SPI3 on early versions of the Development kit, but rather a <a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/errata_nRF52840_EngA/ERR/nRF52840/EngineeringA/latest/anomaly_840_145.html">fixed anomaly (145)</a> that was fixed between <a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/comp_matrix_nrf52840/COMP/nrf52840/nRF52840_ic_revision_overview.html">engineering version A and B </a>where SPIM3 was not functional.
