&lt;p&gt;1. And how is the J-Link debugger connected to your custom board. I assume using the SWD pins, VDD and GND? And what voltage is the custom board provided with and what does it&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Does the application do something else than print logging information to tell you it&amp;#39;s running? Any BLE activity or LEDs/GPIOs that should be toggling that you can check if are running?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Can you try updating your J-Link version to at least 7.66a, as there have been some fixes/patches since then (if your J-Link debugger supports it of course).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Can you provide some more information on the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What are you using to connect the nRF52832 to the PC, a development kit or one a dedicated J-Link debugger? If you&amp;#39;re using a DK, what revision of the DK is this?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;How do you see that the device starts to hang? You mention the &amp;quot;door dog&amp;quot; being open. Is the application controlling a dog door at a timed interval? Can you provide some more details here?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I don&amp;#39;t see any errors from the RTT log, do you also see some logging from the application that might give a hint to what&amp;#39;s going on?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What J-Link version do you have installed on your computer?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
