I'm not sure what J-Link device it is you're trying to connect, but either way it seems like the J-Link version you have installed on your computer is outdated. The tested version for this version of the nRF Programmer app is J-Link v7.66a, which is downloadable here: https://www.segger.com/downloads/jlink/

If this does not solve your issue, please let me know more about this J-Link device, is it a Nordic Development Kit or some other J-Link device you're trying to connect to? And are you using Windows, Ubuntu, or MacOS?
