While I am glad to hear that a fix will be out shortly, in the meantime may I please say....... Grrrr...... if 10.18.0 is broken, wouldn't it be a kind idea to remove it from the website so that other people don't also suffer wasted time (in my case, half of today)?

FWIW 10.18.0 is broken for me on Windows, in a very similar manner:

FYI 0.17.3 worked for me.

The macOS installer experiences the same issue. Downgrading to 10.17.0 proved to be a successful workaround. Will keep an eye out for 10.18.1. Thanks!

Thank you very much for this! I was struggling with VSCode integration, as choosing the toolchain gave error about missing nrfjprog.

I was able to resolve this by downgrading to Command Line Tools 10.17. Hope this helps someone.
