 Add an ADC output to the advertising packet (non-connectable mode) 
 Set the advertising interval to 1 hour or longer

&lt;p&gt;You can modify your advertising data by calling  &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.s110.api.v8.0.0/group___b_l_e___g_a_p___f_u_n_c_t_i_o_n_s.html#gaddbb12e078d536ef2e93b41d77ff6243"&gt;d_ble_gap_adv_data_set&lt;/a&gt;  after advertising has started.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Yes, that is correct, you can not set the advertising interval more than ~10ms, that is the maximum. If you want to receive a message every 1 hour, perhaps connection would be more convenient and more reliable.
