&lt;p&gt;If you are new to Nordic Semiconductor&amp;#39;s devices, I suggest you try to get hold of a DK instead of just a Thingy. The reason is that it has an onboard debugger that you can use to program the device (you can program both your DK and your Thingy, if you have a 10 pin segger JLink cable. And in general, you will have better accessibility to your GPIOs on a DK than on the Thingy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So to your question. It is a bit vague. How do you intend to trigger responses on your Arduino? Do you intend to connect the nRF to the Arduino via wires or wireless (Bluetooth Low Energy)?&lt;/p&gt;
