&lt;p&gt;I think my colleague Terje explains/clarifies &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/72634/mesh-ttl-clarification"&gt;how a Mesh network handles packets and TTL values in this ticket&lt;/a&gt;. You should not have anything to worry about, since a node will only increase the TTL the first time it receives a package.&lt;/p&gt;
