&lt;p&gt;If you want some interaction with the Mesh right away, you can use the &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nrf-mesh"&gt;nRF Mesh app&lt;/a&gt; instead.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, from your question, I assume you want to understand how to develop custom application on&amp;nbsp;other MCUs and&amp;nbsp;smart phone that interact with the Mesh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For that, I can recommend two resources:&lt;br /&gt;- &lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/Android-nRF-Mesh-Library"&gt;Nordic Semiconductor&amp;#39;s Android nRF Mesh Library on github.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- &lt;a href="https://www.bluetooth.com/bluetooth-resources/bluetooth-mesh-proxy-kit/"&gt;Bluetooth SIG&amp;#39;s Guide for the Mesh Proxy Functions&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
